In light of the complexity of our operations, the subject of ecology is essential to us. This means that you may encounter large dispensers of beauty products in your rooms, as well as a minimal volume of printed materials and plastic packaging. We invite our guests to join us as well in these efforts. We support waste sorting and saving electricity and water. Some of our hotels have established composts and keep bees on their rooftops that then provide honey for your breakfast. We’re continuing to expand the project with additional hotels and ideas. Světluška is a long-term project of the Czech Radio Foundation that helps the severely visually impaired. Thanks to the accommodation in the CPI Hotels, the Foundation was able to organize its educational and experiential events and activities this year in the form of the Café POTMĚ, the Nevidomý fanoušek event, and its biggest event of the year, the Světlo pro Světluška concert. We are pleased to have been able to support an event that gets the funds raised where they are needed.

The Kapka naděje Foundation increases the chance of saving the lives of pediatric patients with serious illnesses. Its main areas of interest are haematology, oncology and child psychiatry. Since 2000, it has helped children and their families through equipment purchases, renovations of pediatric wards and medical clinics, research support, public education and other activities. The main support is directed from neonatal, paediatric and oncology wards to palliative care. CPI Hotels has been a long-standing partner, and each year donates accommodation to the fund to host meetings for patient families as well as doctors and other professionals.

”Every child deserves a chance.” CPI Hotels has been a long-term partner of the Nadační fond (Czech Republic’s Endowment Fund) Chance 4 Children, which has been helping socially disadvantaged children, ill children and children in emergency situations since 1996. For instance, we have supported the project ‘Dr. Clown’ for a long time. This project is the first and original program of clowns in hospitals who help by offering “laugh therapy” to reduce the childrens’ trauma during their long-term hospitalization. CPI Hotels regularly provide lodging for the clowns and facilities for instructional workshops.

The Kryštůfek plush toy is a psychological tool used by paramedics to more easily establish communication with a child in their care. It helps injured or ill children in ambulances and helicopters, reducing their anxiety and fears. CPI Hotels has been a long-term partner of the project, and thanks to hotel collections, more of these toys can be provided for sick children.

The organization supports students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds – for example, those growing up in children’s homes, foster families, families in difficult financial situations, or with a single parent. It organizes long-term educational projects, workshops, and provides career counseling. CPI Hotels supports the organization by providing venues for these workshops and accommodation for lecturers.

An organization whose mission is to help vulnerable and disadvantaged children, especially those growing up outside their own families. The foundation supports projects focused on preventing children from being removed from their families, developing foster care, education, and assisting young people in becoming independent after leaving institutional care. CPI Hotels supports the foundation by providing accommodation for lecturers and project organizers.

A non-profit organization based on the principles of humanism, freedom, equality, and solidarity. It strives for an open, informed, engaged, and responsible society that does not remain indifferent to problems either at home or abroad. CPI Hotels regularly supports this initiative by participating in food collection drives organized by the NGO.

An organization where people with disabilities handcraft high-quality products and provide honest services. Thanks to meaningful work and regular income, they can lead fulfilling and dignified lives. CPI Hotels supports this initiative – in selected spaces, we enable the sale of their products, and from used hotel bed linens, we had 100 beautiful dog beds made by them, which we donated to animal shelters.

A-CSR is the largest sustainability and social responsibility initiative in the Czech Republic. It brings together companies, non-profit organizations, public institutions, and individuals who actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). CPI Hotels is a proud member of this association and actively engages in supporting sustainable and responsible projects across sectors.

At CPI Hotels, we are always looking for new opportunities to help. In addition to long-term cooperation with foundations, this includes one-off assistance for specific projects, not only in Prague but also in the regions. For example, we organised a corporate collection for a wig for a lady from České Budějovice suffering from alopecia, donated accommodation vouchers to six families and clients of several Diakonia branches, or provided conference facilities to the non-profit organisation Nadání a dovednosti, which helps young people with personal and career development.
