CPI Hotels

The company under the name Fortuna Hotels, a.s. has begun the operations of their first hotel in Strašnice. The hotel was opened to its first guests after a complex reconstruction in1996.

The amount of hotels under the administration of Fortuna Hotels, a.s. in regards to the Choice Hotels International network is expanding with Clarion brand name hotels. The network of four-star, full service Clarion hotels is strategically situated in the most significant regional cities.

The CPI Hotels portfolio is topped off with an offer for a long-term, affordably priced stay under the company Ubytovny.cz.

A strong position on the Prague hotel market and secure financial facilities led to the decision to expand to regions. The name of the company is also changing – 1st March CPI Hotels, a. s. is established.

A unique hotel concept comes to life: the luxurious boutique Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague, the first representative of the new, international website Buddha-Bar Hotel Collection.

CPI Hotels expands its portfolio with spa hotels. It launched its the brand name Spa & Kur in Františkovy Lázně.

By the 1st of July, Mamaison Hotels & Residences hotel brands are being added to the portfolio. Czech CPI Hotels enters the European market and becomes one of the strongest hotel groups at both national and European scale.

The company announces its expansion into the Czech city of Brno and simultaneously enters the market with the Comfort and Holiday Inn brands.

In addition to the Clarion and Comfort brands, another brand of the Choice Hotels group, Quality Hotels, was introduced on April 1st. The first representative of the brand is the Quality Hotel Ostrava City, with another planned in Brno.

Takeover of the former Holiday Inn Brno**** hotel. Now Quality Hotel Brno Exhibition Centre, strengthening the range of modern accommodation in Brno – one of the key congress cities in the Czech Republic.

CPI Hotels is taking over the operation of the Courtyard by Marriott Budapest City Center and Courtyard by Marriott Prague City hotels, thereby strengthening its presence in the international brand segment.

CPI Hotels has added the former Mercure Bratislava Centrum hotel to its portfolio. In recent days, it has been transformed into the Clarion Congress Hotel Bratislava.

As of January 2024, the brand formerly known as Spa & Kur is now presented under the name Badenia Hotels. The rebranding brought not only a new name but also a fresh and unified visual identity.

The Clarion brand is undergoing rebranding across the entire hotel chain.

The Clarion Hotel Vienna South will open in December, expanding CPI Hotels into a new destination – Austria.

The Mamaison Hotels & Residences brand is undergoing a redesign and modernization of its identity. At the same time, the company is opening a new hotel, Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge Budapest, which builds on the brand's strong position in the stylish city accommodation segment in Budapest.
